Biography

Biography/General: Kim Thornton humorously combines making and photography to explore her lived experience and observations. The work bridges the distance between childhood play and the reality of everyday life by re-enacting childhood memories and creating unexpected scenes that subvert everyday tasks, suggesting a secret life of make-believe and fantasy.
