After fifteen years as gallery director of Boutwell Draper Gallery in Sydney, Susan Boutwell started in September 2017 with a new exhibition program in Munich, Germany.

Boutwell Draper focused on artists particularly from the Asia Pacific region, who work in a broad range of media, from painting and photography to sculpture, installation, video and digital arts.

The gallery also presented international artists to Australia including Curtis Anderson, Andy Goldsworthy, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Ryoji Koiji, Yong Deok Lee, Jay Mark Johnson, Christina Lissmann, Martin Mlecko, Ulrich Ruckreim and Rosemarie Trockel.

Susan Boutwell in Munich continues to commit to the promotion of both emerging and established contemporary artists from Australia and New Zealand as well as international artist.
Her current program includes Charlotte Acklin (Munich, Germany), Peter Daverington (Melbourne, Australia, living in New York), Ulrich Hensel (Düsseldorf, Germany), Claudia Hirtl (Vienna, Austria), Stefanie Hofer (Munich, Germany), Gavin Hurley (Auckland, NewZealand), Mira Makai (Budapest, Hungary), Jan Schünke (Munich, Germany), David Stephenson (Hobart, Australia), Leona Tobien (Berlin, Germany), Peter Westwood (Melbourne, Australia) and Peter Wüthrich (Bern, Switzerland)
